Maintenance on Te Roroa owned assets within Waipoua Forest and Iwi owned properties is an important task for our iwi kaimahi team.  These roles includes; 

- Tenancy agreement properties
- Sewerage system
- Water system
- Office and buildings
- Camp ground buildings
- Te Roroa private roading
- Fleet management of vehicles

Te Roroa Environs

Te Roroa Environs conducts a variety of contracts within the rohe and also further afield and are committed to provide training to employ beneficiaries with required skill set.  Our main tasks involve working with the Northland Regional Council and the Department of Conservation (DOC) in the areas of;
- Weed control
- Archaeology
- Amenities
- Kokako translocation
- Track Maintenance
- Assistance for Waima 1080 Aerial Consultation
- Manchurian Rice Grass
- Kai Iwi Lakes
- QEII National Trust (Putoetoe Ginger control)

Te Roroa Environs are building capacity to develop roles in;
- State Highway 12 roading maintenance
- Kai Iwi lakes management
- Honey Bee keeping industry
- Collaborative ongoing Pest and weed control
- Propagation nursery
- Kiwi Kaitiakitanga
- Manu huruhuru workshops
